ARRECIA EL EMPEÑO La concepción actual de la belleza en el arte, pese a no distanciarse en su esencia del concepto clásico, ha evolucionado paralelamente al proceso de complejificación de los elementos que intervienen en la percepción sensorial y el conocimiento. Se ensambla a partir de retazos de verdad que subyacen bajo ciertas obras, y no solamente en su componente formal, sino, esencialmente, en la carga simbólica, incorpórea o impalpable a primera vista. Es el instinto el único vector que permite intuir, presentir, la esencia de la belleza, salvaguardada por el enigma que entraña su revelación. Este tipo de majestuosa proclamación de grandiosidad anida en el reino de la libertad espiritual y no entiende de postulados especulativos porque obedece a una fuerza mayor que conmociona y turba en igual medida, tanto a creador como a degusta- dor. Tras las trincheras de esta firme convicción sigue ondeando nuestra enseña, celosamente vigilada al abrigo de los vientos por nuestros paladines: activistas del buen gusto, de lo auténtico, de lo que emociona y nos hace ser mejores. THE RESOLVE STRENGTHENS The current concept of beauty in art, despite not departing in essence from the classical concept, has evolved in parallel to the process of ‘complexification’ of the elements that are involved in the sensory perception and knowledge. To my knowledge the concept is put together using pieces of truth that underlie certain works and not only in their formal component, but essentially in the symbolic ethereal, impalpable weight on first sight. Instinct is the only vector that allows us to sense and feel the essence of beauty, protected by the enigma that its revela- tion entail. This type of majestic proclamation of grandeur that I refer to can be found in the realm of spiritual freedom and does not understand speculative positions because it obeys a force majeur that moves and disturbs in equal measure, both creator and taster. Beyond the trenches of this firm conviction our ensign still flies, jealously guarded, sheltered from the winds by our paladins: activists of good taste, or the authentic, of the emotive and art that makes us better people. It is for them, and with them that our publishing house opens its doors, and with this edition you hold in your hands, into which we have invested more effort and enthusiasm than ever before; a new stage in this great long-distance race with which we face the decadence and the crisis of principles that have been plaguing art for years. We have broadened our scope by making our content accessible in the world’s two main languages and we have created a powerful and comprehensive virtual platform to be prepared as possible in the brawl for our objective: excellence.
